ESA's One School, One Future Capital Campaign
Thank you to everyone who has pledged support for this comprehensive campaign to provide for ESA's future!
We've raisedover $6.4 million toward our goal of $13.5 million for:
-
creating a Lower School facility to match the quality of its program ($9 million),
-
meeting renovation and program expansion needs on the Cade campus ($1.5 million), and
-
expanding the financial aid pool for deserving students and enhancing our ability to attract and retain outstanding faculty from around the world through endowment building ($3 million).
We've completed Phase 1 of the Lower School Building Project, the rear buildings and courtyard that form the new home for the exceptional teaching and learning that takes place in the Lower School classrooms. Phase 2 involves renovating the former LAFCO building to house the library, administrative offices and specialized learning spaces for technology, art, music and more. As fundraising continues, we look forward to completing the front building and enjoying full use of our Lower School campus.
We've also begun improvements on the Cade campus. The gym has a new roof, and we've constructed a new Middle School gym and rebuilt the tennis facility.
Mr. Tutwiler has covered much of the country in his quest to visit as many alumni as possible to encourage support for the Tates-Tutwiler Fund for scholarship. He and the Tates will continue working to build this important endowment!
