Camp Cho-Yeh

The ESA seventh grade class spends a week at Camp Cho-Yeh in Livingston, Texas in May. This annual trip, led by Middle School faculty, is an important component of the seventh grade curriculum. Students and faculty work together to further develop the leadership, teamwork and communication skills discussed in advisory groups throughout the school year. The beautiful woodlands of Camp Cho-Yeh and the camaraderie of the group experience provide the setting for challenging opportunities that build character and emotional maturity.

Camp Cho-Yeh Camp and Conference Center is located an hour northeast of Houston in Livingston, Texas. The camp staff has created a program specifically for ESA students that includes time spent on a professionally supervised challenge course (high and low ropes), swimming under the watch of certified lifeguards, and games and athletic activities led by Cho-Yeh staff.
