Senior Art Show

Each year, seniors who have participated in art at ESA work with the Visual Arts faculty to put together an exhibit of their work. The exhibit showcases both 2D and 3D media and gives students a chance to experience the excitement and challenges of curating their own show.

In 2015, Rod Parker, Director of the School of Art at LSU’s College of Art and Design, and Kitty Pheney, Director of New Initiatives at the LSU School of Art, visited to jury the exhibit. They walked through the show with the students and teachers and offered their critiques.

“Your program really is a jewel and you are rightly proud of what your students have accomplished,” said Mr. Parker. “They exhibited a maturity and depth—both in their work and their ability to speak about it—that puts them among the very best!”
