Second Graders Visit Courthouse

Second grade students served as the jury in the case to decide whether Goldilocks damaged property at the Bears' house. Thank you to Judge Charlie Fitzgerald, '92, ESA parent and District Judge of the 15th Judicial District Court, for sharing his courtroom and presiding over the case, and to ESA parents and attorneys Tim Ryan and Matt Green for arguing the two sides. Goldilocks (played by teacher Elizabeth Pham) was declared innocent. The students also served as judges and attorneys as they argued whether Reflex Math should be required homework.
