Church Architecture through Minecraft

Eighth graders in Dr. Andrew Armond's Intro to Religion classes have been studying church architecture by designing their own structures in Minecraft. Following guidelines based on common architectural elements found in different types of churches, the students are collaborating in small groups, as well as sharing a Minecraft realm so they can explore each other's churches. In addition to designing his own Minecraft structure, Dr. Armond summarized his All-School Thanksgiving Eucharist sermon for the National Association of Episcopal School's blog.
