Let Grow Tree

Since Thanksgiving, instead of homework Lower School students have been completing independent tasks, such as feeding pets, folding clothes, and cooking meals for their families. Students are encouraged to choose tasks they haven't done yet but feel ready to do. When a task is complete, the child who did it makes an oak leaf, writes his or her name on it, and brings it to school to put on the tree in the Enrichment Center. Each grade level has been challenged to complete 40 tasks. Looks like they are well on their way!
