Social Studies Conference
At ESA’s first annual Social Studies Conference held on January 30th, panelists from the Class of 2020 – (left to right, below) Sarah Humble, Braxton English, Lawrence Bourgeois, and Will Bako – presented to ESA and UL Lafayette faculty, parents, and community members. In their AP Government class, the students were given the theme of citizenship for their research papers, and chose topics such as immigration, LGBTQ rights, citizenship in space, and robot citizenship. Lawrence’s work about citizenship in the Old West was chosen for the top prize this year.
