Art Honors

At the UL Lafayette Rally Visual Arts competition, Emma Cascio (above) placed first in the sculpture category and received Best in Show! Other ESA artists were honored at LSU's 6th Annual Juried High School Exhibition. Over 400 submissions were reviewed this year, and just over 70 pieces were exhibited. Eight works by ESA artists were on display, and ESA took home three of the five awards given at the closing ceremony. Honorable mention went to Isabelle Berthelot for her 40 Moons Tapestry and to Jaya Kasturi for her photograph, Neal. Madi Stelly received third place for her watercolor and gouache painting, Bottles. Congratulations to all of the students and to the ESA Visual Arts Department!
