Writing Awards
Louisiana Writes is a state-wide contest that takes in nearly 1,000 entries each year. Teachers from around the state narrow the entries and finalists are selected by notable Louisiana scholars and writers.
Le Grand Concours
ESA 3rd- 5th graders compete each year in Le Grand Concours, a national competition sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of French. This year just over 3,000 students competed in the elementary division. 77% of ESA Lower School French students scored in the top 50% nationally.
