Egg Drop Challenge

First grade scientists loved the challenge their teachers gave them last week - to build a protective covering for a raw egg so it won't break when dropped. Ms. Dani's class tested their first iterations of the project from a short height earlier in the week, then refined their designs and tested again from the second floor walkway (below). Ms. Joanne's class (above) tested their first designs today from a few feet above the ground. They'll evaluate their projects and try the second floor drop this week.
