Grant Suire, '21 (center), has been named a finalist in the 2020-2021 United States Senate Youth Program, sponsored by the William R. Hearst Foundation. Six finalists will take the national exam on December 15th, followed by interviews with a panel of judges. Based on the results of portfolio scores, written exam and interview, two delegates and two alternates will be selected to represent Louisiana in an online Washington Week experience from Sunday, March 14th through Thursday, March 18th. Grant is pictured above with last year's Upper School Youth Legislature club. Club members attended the Louisiana Youth Legislature virtual conference last Friday. Based on last year's elections, Grant served as Governor, Corbitt Driskell, '21, as President of the Senate, and Anil Cacodcar, '22, as Speaker of the House.
