Marine Adventures

Sophomores traveled to Dauphin Island, Alabama, for an experience in marine biology research and field work. They learned about the plants and animals in the estuary and spent time in both the salt marsh and the maritime forest, as well as in the lab. ESA students have been making this trip since the school's earliest days. This year's adventure is later than usual, but thanks to the flexibility of teachers, administrators, and the staff at the Dauphin Island Sea Lab, the students were able to make the most of the opportunity!
