Youth Leg

ESA's upper school Youth Legislature team of Anil Cacodcar, Ali Munshi, Amelia Leroux, Ben Matthews, Bridger McCasland, Corbitt Driskell, Grant Suire, Lauren Gachassin, Maudry Anne Nichols, and Marie-Sofia Sotiropoulou participated in a virtual conference last Friday. Anil, Corbitt, Bridger, and Grant finished their terms as state board officers after helping to plan this year’s conference. Bills by Ali, Ben, Lauren, and Maudry were passed, and Ali's bill, Bill 29: To Further Incentivize the Use of Clean Energy Transportation, was awarded Outstanding Bill from the House chamber. Ali was elected as next year’s Secretary of State. And Grant, Corbitt, and Bridger recited the prologue to The Canterbury Tales for the hundreds of participants. Congratulations, Youth Leg!
