District Track

ESA Girls Track and Field placed second and ESA Boys placed third at the district meet on Thursday. Top three finishes for the girls included 4x400 (Gase Broussard, Aline Malek, Ava-Grace Hebert, and Taylor Guillotte), 3rd; Aline Malek, 1st in 1600 and 3200; Ava-Grace Hebert, 2nd in 3200; Taylor Guillotte, 2nd in 1600; Irene Kaiser, 1st in 100 hurdles, 300 hurdles and triple jump, 2nd in long jump; Ayden Brown, 1st in 400 and 800, 2nd in 200, and named Outstanding Track Athlete. For the boys: 4x400 (Max Ross, Spencer McNeely, Christian Herpin, and Ian Allam), 2nd; Alex Koval, 3rd in triple jump; Ian Waskom, 3rd in 3200; Peter Kaiser, 1st in 3200, 2nd in 1600; Christian Herpin, 3rd in 400; Ian Allam, 2nd in 400, 3rd in 200; and Richard Magann, 1st in discuss (school record), 3rd in shot put.
