Day of Service
Seventh graders worked in groups to serve the Lafayette area through Friday's Day of Service. Students bagged 3,800 pounds of sweet potatoes and 2,000 pounds of rice at the Second Harvest food bank, for a total of 5,000 meals. Students also volunteered at two locations of Boys and Girls Club of Acadiana, where they painted, cleaned the facilities, pressure-washed, and made inspirational posters.
