Seventh Grade Day of Service

Seventh graders spent Friday working to benefit others in the Acadiana community through a Day of Service. After studying hunger issues in different classes this year, the students spent the day volunteering at FoodNet in Lafayette, Solomon House in New Iberia, and the Iberia Boys and Girls Club. The group donated 326 pounds of food and bagged 104 bags, or 1872 pounds, of rice as part of their service. To show students how middle school service projects make a global impact, ESA is participating in the Global Youth Service Day 2018.
