Third grader Phillip chose TinkerLab for his fall 2018 enrichment cluster. Each semester, students in 3rd through 5th grades meet in small groups that cross grade levels to explore different topics in depth. Phillip chose TinkerLab because he's excited about taking things apart to see what's inside them and what makes them work. On the first day of the cluster, he and his partner took apart an office phone. They were intrigued by the phone's circuit board and excited to examine each piece.
Phillip says what he likes best about third grade is his teacher, Mrs. Leslie, because she's fun and she stays calm, no matter what happens!
