For the fourth year in a row, ESA Girls' Track & Field has won the Class B State Championship!Placing for the girls: High jump – Hailie Williams, 4th; 1600m – Samantha Withers, 1st, Aline Malek, 4th; 100m hurdles – Hailie Williams, 4th; 100m – Kailie Williams – 1st; 800m – Samantha Withers, 1st, Madeline Breaux, 3rd; 4x100m relay – Ayden Brown, Hailie Williams, Ruthie Reaux, Kailie Williams – 1st; 400m – Samantha Withers, 2nd, Ayden Brown, 3rd; 300m hurdles – Hailie Williams, 5th; 200m – Kailie Williams, 1st; 3200m – Aline Malek, 1st; 4x400m – Kailie Williams, Aline Malek, Ayden Brown, Madeline Breaux, 1st; and Triple jump – Irene Kaiser, 2nd. The boys' team, with just six athletes, finished strong: Shot put – Richard Magann, 7th; 1600m – Jackson Spoon, 2nd; 110m hurdles – Will Lemoine, 2nd; 400m – Ian Allam, 5th; 300m hurdles – Will Lemoine, 1st; 3200m – Charlie Blanchard, 6th; 4x400 – Ian Allam, Jackson Spoon, Emil Meyer, Will Lemoine, 1st; and Triple jump – Emil Meyer, 3rd.
