ESA's Councils

The two upper school councils - Honor Council and Discipline Council (shown) - led chapel in Cade on Wednesday and Friday to educate new and returning students about the Honor Code, the Code of Conduct, and the role of the two groups. The Honor Council highlighted honor code issues through Jeopardy: Honor Council Edition, played by class presidents, while the Discipline Council involved the whole student body in a Kahoot trivia game, with prizes for the students who scored highest on Code of Conduct-based questions. At the end of Wednesday's chapel, the Honor Council invited sixth graders and new students to sign the Honor Book as a celebration of ESA's trusting community and its foundation in the Honor Code. Students will learn more about the the councils through advisory and future presentations.
