Swim Top 16
The Top 16 meet brings together the top 16 swimmers in each event from the district meets. ESA Swimmers had a great day at this end-of-season meet! Jiya Lodha, Owen Broussard, Hayden Ladner, and Curtis Hidalgo all swam personal best times. Regan Manning placed 1st and set new school records in the 100 fly and 500 free! Elena Alvarado placed 2nd in the 100 breast. The girls 200 medley relay team of Ella Walton, Elena Alvarado, Regan Manning, and Lucia Weiner placed 3rd. Hayden Ladner placed 3rd in the 100 back, and Curtis Hidalgo took 3rd place in the 200 free. The girls 200 free relay team of Elena Alvarado, Lucia Weiner, JuJu Badeaux, and Regan Manning took 3rd place. ESA placed 5th overall out of 32 teams, with the girls placing 3rd and the boys 9th. Congratulations, Falcons! On to State on November 17th and 18th!
