A State Meet Marked by a flu outbreak.

For the first time since 2013, ESA boys returned home with something less than a championship trophy.  With Greer Hernandez 2nd, Will Brown 4th, Max Ross 8th, and the other scoring runners in the top 15, ESA boys fell by 11 points to Christ Episcopal in 1st place.

the Girls’ team finished 3rd with all but 1 member of their top 7 with the flu.  It was a Brilliant effort led by Minnie Blanchard who was the only healthy team member from the top seven.  She was joined by the courageous trio of Gase Broussard, Taylor Guillotte, and Grace Pellegrin who ran sick, and Sophia Thom, and Ella Langford who found out they were running that morning.
