State Runner-Up

ESA Track & Field Boys and Girls finished as Runners-Up in the State meet held at LSU on Thursday! Individual State Champions include: Ian Allam, 400 meters (with a new school record time of 50.96 that breaks the one he previously held); Ayden Brown, 800m; Richard Magann, discus; Irene Kaiser, long jump and triple jump; and the 4x400 relay team of Gunnar Caswell, Max Ross, Spencer McNeely, and Ian Allam. Other results: Ian Allam, 3rd, 200m; Gunnar Caswell, 2nd, 400m; Irene Kaiser, 2nd in 100m and 100m hurdles; Ayden Brown, 4th, 200m, 2nd, 400m (new school record and both Ayden and the 1st place finisher broke the State record); Greer Hernandez, 3rd, 1600m; John Henry Fitzgerald, 8th, 1600m; Anderson Frank, 4th, 3200m; Gunnar Caswell, Henry Fuller, Spencer McNeely, and Ian Allam, 5th, 4x200 relay; Eli Eble, 2nd, shot put; Richard Magann, 3rd, shot put; Grace Pellegrin, Briley Herpin, Gase Broussard, and Ayden Brown, 3rd, 4x200 relay; Cameron Lee, 7th, high jump; and Briley Herpin, 6th, high jump.
