MATHCOUNTS
During Friday's State MATHCOUNTS Competition in Pineville, ESA's team of four - Emersen Chen, Muskaan Lodha, Matthew Green, and Hadley DeJean - secured a commendable seventh place out of 25 teams. Emersen Chen distinguished himself by claiming seventh place overall among 99 middle school competitors. Following his qualification for the Countdown Round, Emersen advanced through three intense rounds of head-to-head competition, ultimately securing the position of runner-up. His only defeat was to the first-place winner of the entire competition. Congratulations, mathletes!
