Career Day 2021
Throughout the fall, we introduced the ESA alumni who joined us for Career Day 2021 to share their experiences with current juniors and seniors. We have two more to highlight, starting with Dr. Josh Caffery, '93. Josh earned a BA in philosophy and religious studies from LSU, and a PhD in English and folklore from UL Lafayette. From 2010 to 2013, he taught English at ESA, and served as English department chair in his last year. He has also been an Alan Lomax Fellow in Folklife Studies at the Library of Congress, a visiting professor of Folklore and Ethnomusicology at Indiana University, and a senior copywriter and brand and strategy researcher at Stuller. Since 2018, Josh has served as Director of the Center for Louisiana Studies at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
