Coach Mark Broussard

Mark Broussard has served as head coach of ESA’s baseball team since 1995. He came to ESA after earning Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in mathematics and playing baseball at the University of Southwestern Louisiana, now the University of Louisiana-Lafayette. Coach Broussard was named an Academic All-American in 1991.

While at USL, Coach Broussard also coached American Legion baseball in Lafayette. He led the Delhomme Drillers to three regional championships and two top-three finishes in the state, and was named Coach of the Year in Lafayette’s American Legion league four of the six years he coached. The Falcons have earned seven district championships during Coach Broussard’s tenure and made it to the State semifinals in 2017.
