Regional Champs

Congratulations to ESA Girls Tennis for winning the Regional Championship this week! Scout Helveston, '27, took first place in singles, and Maria-Sofia Sotiropoulou, '24, finished as runner-up. The doubles team of Juliet Williams, '27, and Sam Arceneaux, '24, finished second. With the win, ESA will host regionals again next year. On April 27th and 28th, boys and girls tennis will compete in the State tournament in Monroe. Qualifying for State along with the athletes already listed are the doubles teams of Briley Herpin and Tyler Harson, Ellery Hoyt and Ella Romero, Alex Trahan and Max Prellop, and Benjamin Kane and Perry Joseph, as well as singles player Cruz Quinlan.
