Academics

Experience Excellence

Experience is everything, and ESA's academic program proves it. From PK3 through 12th grade, our curriculum emphasizes problem-solving, hands-on learning and critical thinking. Academics at ESA blend content and enrichment to encourage curiosity and inspire learning. Students are active participants, experiencing their education through challenge and exploration.
    • Small Classes

With small classes, every student progresses. Enrichment clusters, electives and independent studies give students opportunities to learn with others who share their interests.

    • Support

Teachers, advisors, grade level deans, counselors, chaplains, academic support teachers and coaches are available to help students navigate academic, social, and extracurricular challenges.

    • Lifelong Learning

Teachers who are passionate about the subjects they teach set the example for a lifetime of curiosity and growth. They share their love of learning with their students every day.

    • Technology

On both the Lafayette and Cade campuses, teachers incorporate technology as one of the many tools that contribute to learning.

    • Experiences

Through placed-based learning, students explore and face challenges that broaden their knowledge, teach them to work together, and give them the confidence to succeed.

    • The Arts

Through visual and performing arts, ESA students step into the shoes of artists to learn the skills and establish the foundation for exploring their own creativity.
