  • Getting Started

Our admissions process is all about finding the right fit. You need to feel that ESA is the right school for you, and we want to feel that you (or your child) will do well while you’re here. With that in mind, we have designed a comprehensive admissions process. Our Admissions staff will work closely with you to make sure you have the information you need and that the process goes smoothly for your family.

  • Schedule a Tour

We recommend that you begin the process with a campus tour so you can see the students in action, observe our teacher-student interaction, and experience the positive atmosphere of the school.

Admission FAQ

List of 3 frequently asked questions.

  • When is the deadline to apply?

While ESA has rolling admissions, several of our classes currently are full and openings will be limited. We recommend applying as soon as possible for the coming school year. It is possible for a student to be admitted at any time of the year if space is available in the student’s grade level. In the normal admissions cycle, our admissions committee makes decisions in late January and early February; therefore, families are encouraged to complete the application process before that time.
  • Do we have to be Episcopalian to be accepted?

No. ESA accepts students from all religions and backgrounds.
  • Does ESA offer any financial aid?

Yes. ESA offers need-based financial aid to families who qualify. Families must apply for admission before their application for financial aid can be processed. ESA partners with Smart Aid, an online service used by many independent schools. ESA awards financial aid on a first-come, first-served basis each school year.
