National Spanish Exam
The Spanish teachers at ESA administer the National Spanish Exam each year. This exam measures proficiency of students at their particular level of Spanish.
Receiving Bronze awards for scores in the 75th to 84th percentile:
7th grade: Josie Movassaghi, Samuel Castille
SPANISH I: Averie Lajaunie, Ryan Rhoades
Receiving Silver awards for scores in the 85th to 94th percentile:
7th grade: Lara Castro, Jolie Fabre
8th grade: Katy Broussard, Sara Humble, Ethan Littlefield, Reggie Rideaux

Spanish II: Keegan Riley
Gold awards are given for scores in the 95th percentile or higher:

8th grade: Caitlin Chen, Eli Lipari, Leah Gerard
Leah Gerard receives an additional Silver medal and a certificate for placing on the top 99 percentile nationally and placing second  in the Louisiana chapter.
 
National French Contest
The National French Contest, known as “Le Grand Concours,” is an exam and competition that serves to recognize outstanding French students across the country. Students compete at the state and national level.
Receiving Bronze awards for scores in the 75th to 84th percentile:
