Abby Langford, '18, Honored by DAR and Cooke Foundation

STUCO President Abby Langford, '18, has been named the winner of the New Iberia Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution Good Citizen Essay Contest, and a semifinalist for the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation College Scholarship Program. The Cooke Foundation program is an undergraduate scholarship program for high-achieving high school seniors seeking to attend and graduate from the nation's best four-year colleges and universities. Up to 40 students will become Jack Kent Cooke Scholars with funding for up to four years for undergraduate studies. Semifinalists represent the top 10% of all applicants. Congratulations, Abby!
