Summer Immersion

Junior Caitlin Cotteleer has been accepted to the National Security Language Initiative for Youth's Arabic program for this summer. This program, run by the U.S. State Department, was created to foster international cooperation by helping American students develop linguistic skills and cultural knowledge about various regions of the world. Caitlin chose to study Arabic, and typically would be spending the summer in Morocco for an immersion in the language and culture. Due to travel restrictions, she will instead spend the summer in an intensive virtual experience. Congratulations, Caitlin!
