Mardi Gras Prep

On both campuses, students are preparing their costumes for next week's Mardi Gras celebrations! At the lower school, our Courir des Faucons tradition will continue, with Capitaines leading PK3 and third-grade students in door-to-door food collection, along with games, dancing, and gumbo. Items collected during the Courir will be donated to children and families in need. Third-grade students are designing their own colorful t-shirts, while parent volunteers are helping to create festive costumes for PK3 students. In Cade, Eco Club and Student Council are hosting an upcycled Courir de Mardi Gras costume contest. Students are using unwanted materials to make Courir costumes for the February 9th celebration. After the break, STUCO and Eco Club will collect Mardi Gras beads to donate to LARC. The Class of 2024 had a Courir de Mardi Gras costume-making party in the library on Wednesday!
