Sian, '25

It came as no surprise that faculty members chose Sian, '25, as the recipient of the 7th grade class Citizenship Award in 2020. The award is given to a student who selflessly cares for the school and for classmates, and works behind the scenes to improve the world around them.

Teachers say Sian fits the definitions of gentle and kind, two values found in our school prayer. She truly cares for her classmates and for the adults around her, and goes out of her way to make sure everyone has what they need.
Even during distance learning, Sian focused on making people happy. She showed up to one Google Meet class session with stuffed animals to make everyone smile. As one teacher says, “Sian is the most empathetic person I have ever met, adult or child."
