Collaboration Time

PK-4 and fifth grade students have been collaborating. In science, PK-4 students visited the science lab, where fifth graders helped them dig for the bones they each needed to build a complete skeleton. In language arts, PK-4 students have been learning about story elements such as setting and characters. Fifth graders joined them to work in pairs to come up with story ideas. Then, the older students wrote the stories their younger partners wanted to tell. Both groups enjoy building their skills by working together!
