Sharing Cultures

The Food Around the World cluster had a special guest. Teaching assistant Satomi Wakisaka taught the students how to make temari sushi, or sushi balls. The students continued their discussion of staple foods and how rice and fish play an important part in Japanese cuisine. Thanks, Ms. Satomi!
