Ella Frantzen, ’19, graduated from Tufts University with a B.S. in biochemistry in 2023, and has been commissioned into the US Air Force as a pilot. She’s proud to serve our country, and shared that her favorite part about being a pilot is that even on overcast or rainy days, she still gets to see the sun!
Since graduating from ESA, Ella has run six marathons and completed IRONMAN Cozumel. Most recently, she got engaged! Ella writes, “ESA fosters a culture of hard work and passion, which taught me to think critically, lead with empathy, and stay focused in high-pressure situations.”
Offering words of encouragement for her fellow Falcons, Ella described life as a team sport that we are all just figuring out together. “Be humble with the ones who stand next to you, and see the humanity in those who stand against you.”
Thanks, Ella!
