Christopher Marcotte, '07

Christopher Marcotte, '07, is a mechanical engineer with Chevron in the Gulf of Mexico, Central California, Houston, Texas, and Utah. He and his wife Lisa married in November of 2024 and have been living in Utah for the last five years.

In 2023, Christopher founded BearBolts, the first and only keyless bear resistant lock for coolers and hard sided cases. Since then he has learned a lot about wildlife management and has attended conferences in Idaho, Oregon, and Montana on managing bear populations and reducing bear-human conflict throughout the mountain west. Christopher says he has enjoyed getting a look behind the scenes of the great work that is done by our National Park Service, Forest Service, Wildlife and Fisheries, and BLM Land Managers.

Thanks, Christopher!
