Anil Cacodcar, '22
We're thrilled to share that Anil Cacodcar, '22, has been named a Rhodes Scholar! Anil is the first person from Louisiana to receive the honor in ten years, and one of only 32 Americans chosen this year. A senior at Harvard University, Anil is a double concentrator in Economics and Human Developmental and Regenerative Biology. With the prestigious scholarship, Anil will complete at least two years of postgraduate study at Oxford University, where he plans to complete an M.Phil in Economics.
Anil told
The Harvard Crimson that "he views economics as a way to 'unite the big problems in disease prevention with healthcare system design.'" After his studies at Oxford, Anil plans to attend medical school, and he hopes to combine his interests and areas of study in ways that will make an impact on public health.
