Taylor Guillotte, '22

Taylor Guillotte, '22, will graduate from Tulane University this May with a bachelor of arts in design and a minor in business. Over the past four years, Taylor has focused on fashion and textile design, branding and marketing. She has completed internships with local designers in New Orleans and has even created her own brand: Newcomb Studio, a handmade and vintage clothing brand for Tulane gameday styles marketed toward students through instagram and pop-up sales around campus. Taylor (pictured in Tuscany) recently spent a semester abroad in Florence, Italy, where she focused her studies on fashion and art, and reconnected with her love of drawing, architecture and travel.

“One of the most important lessons I have learned from ESA and taken with me has been how to show up and work hard,” Taylor says. “I learned this from the sports teams I was on, specifically from the cross country team. Coach Laura, Coach Jenn, and the rest of our team instilled in me the importance of showing up every day and working harder than you did the day before. Not only is it important to my own success, but it is important to the success of my teammates and those around me. I am so thankful to ESA for teaching me many lessons and values that I continue to uphold every day.”

Taylor’s advice to current students: “Appreciate the relationships you’re able to build with your teachers at ESA.”

Thanks, Taylor!
