After graduating from ESA in 2006, Mary Doris attended Amherst College in Massachusetts, where she met her husband, Matt. She earned both a law degree and an MBA from Tulane University. Mary Doris and Matt are raising three daughters. The family spent two years living abroad in Georgetown, Guyana, an experience she describes as a special adventure together. In 2024, they relocated to Houston, where they are now enjoying life in the suburbs.

Mary Doris credits ESA with shaping her mindset and values.

“ESA taught me that happiness is built through a life of integrity and purpose, and that learning is a lifestyle,” she shared. “It taught me how to think deeply, ask difficult questions, and seek truth.”

To current Falcons and future graduates, she offers this advice: “Follow your passion, and if you haven’t found it yet, don’t be discouraged. Work hard, be true to your values, and the rest will follow.”

Thanks, Mary Doris!
