Paige Lawrence, '27

Junior Paige Lawrence joined the ESA family in PK3. While she’s a member of several ESA clubs, she found her passion outside of school. Paige rides horses competitively, and plans to turn her interest into a career.

Here’s our Q&A with Paige:

What makes ESA a unique school to attend?

I think what makes ESA so special is the community and the amount of freedom that we have.

Who or what has inspired you as a learner?

I have never really liked school, but ever since I have found my passion for horses, I figured out that I want to go to school to study equine science, so as cringy as it sounds, my horse and family have kind of inspired me to stick through school until college.

What has been your most challenging moment at ESA?

Definitely academics, mostly high school academics

If you had a month to study anything in the world, what would you be passionate about learning?

I would be most passionate about learning the study of horses, their bodies, feed, and nutrition, and everything about them.

Is there anything you’d like to share with the community about your ESA experience?

I have definitely had ups and downs but I see and recognize how special this school is, and I am very grateful for it.

Thanks, Paige!
