Deb Cochran Math Enthusiast Award
A new award to be given to a fifth-grade student each year in honor of founding Lower School faculty member Deb Cochran

The Deb Cochran Math Enthusiast Award is presented to a fifth-grade student who approaches math with curiosity, enthusiasm, and a love for learning. With a positive attitude and a willingness to tackle challenges, this student embraces problem-solving, explores new concepts with excitement, and inspires others with their joy for mathematics. Their perseverance and eagerness to grow make them a shining example of what it means to be a lifelong learner in math!

St. Barnabas Award
In 2004, ESA Lower School was established on the grounds of Saint Barnabas Church. Our founding location was true to the words in our alma mater as it was a place of study and a place of play, a place where I made the friends I love today. Where excellence was pursued and gained, to honor that history, we established the Saint Barnabas Award to acknowledge students who strive to live out the virtues of our school prayer while maximizing their ESA experience.
